Eleven pins per side (nine metal, two co-molded composite pins) are placed around the pedal’s edge for consistent grip and to maintain a secure, concave feel. The metal pins also have smaller, non-threaded tips, making it easier to reposition your foot, and to replace the inevitable smashed pin or two.
